Greater Works Foundation Announces Six 2027 Adedeji Scholars at the University of Ibadan

Greater Works Foundation today announced the six recipients of the 2027 Adedeji Scholarship Program award. The scholars are undergraduates at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and join the program's 2027 cohort following a careful review of applications.

The 2027 Adedeji Scholars are: Bukola Oniya (Arts), Dorcas Emmanuel (Economics), Raymond Okouboh (Economics), Faith Ajewole (Social Sciences), Marvelous Idumah (Social Sciences), and Aminat Legbo (Social Sciences).

Each scholar receives full tuition and accommodation for one academic session, renewable for one additional session based on exceptional performance. Scholars also receive a year of support, including tailored events and networking opportunities.

The Adedeji Scholarship Program is delivered in partnership with The Lydia Leadership Foundation, Nigeria. It recognizes first-, second- and penultimate-year students who excel academically while pursuing interests beyond their main field of study, from entrepreneurship and the arts to public service.

"These six students show what the Adedeji Scholarship was built to recognize: academic achievement alongside purposeful extracurricular pursuit. We are proud to back them, and grateful to The Lydia Leadership Foundation for making this partnership possible," said Ifeoluwa (DJ) Adedeji, Founder of Greater Works Foundation.

"One of the reasons I really wanted this scholarship was its commitment to both academic excellence and social impact," said Bukola Oniya, a 2027 Adedeji Scholar in the Faculty of Arts. "I love that it encourages students to excel academically while making a difference in their communities."

Applications for the 2028 cohort will be announced in the first quarter of 2027.
